A new year beckons. hence, the beginning of a new blog. which is kindda random of me. i never thought of having a blog coz i would never have anything to say. quite the scenario right now.
anyway, wow its rather tormenting thinking of the right words to put in. but since im a few thousand miles away from where i came from, from where my friends and family are, i shall succumb to this slight predicament. hopefully, this may help bridge the gap between everyone back in malaysia and my happenings here in Oz. thats kind of the only reason im doing this. shit, i have a feeling i wont be 'posting' (is that the right word?) very often so.. my apologies -to anyone who would even bother to read this crap =)
so, yeah. initially it was difficult being here. i missed my parents and friends of whom i had only recently come to appreciate. damn. IMYA becky! but regardless, im willing to maintain that superior friendship we have. just 2 weeks and ive experienced an emotional rollercoaster. i am, however, proud to say that things have improved and remain adamant that things are only going to get better from here. wohoo! some positive thinking right there! -part of my new years resolution. im boarding with my aunt, uncle and 2 cousins whom i have come to love. school does not start until 30th of january but work does start this saturday. i work part time at my aunt's malaysian restaurant near our house. its great coz i get to meet alot of other malaysians here and still feel at home away from home.
so thats the entourage. just a vague idea of what im doing here. yesterday i visited sydney city at night and it was mesmerizing. the harbour bridge and opera house side by side, seated next to the waters errupting with colours reflected by the city lights. i was spellbound -and as a gust of wind blew my short locks i thought to myself, i think im going to love it here!!
