B'DAY

THE BEYONCE EXPERIENCE
April 21st 2007 - Acer Arena, Sydney Olympic Park

glamorous. gorgeous. glittery. absolutely amazing. it was crazy to think that i wasnt even looking forward to it that much. my cousin had extra tickets and asked me if i wanted to go. no, of course i didnt get it for free, but it was worth every penny of that $100 dollars salary i sacrificed. worth every second of cramping in the cheapest, littlest, furthest seats of the at least 10,000 capacity arena. the biggest concert ive been to -aside from michael jackson's concert i went to when i was bout six- it was phenomenal.

not to mention, CHRIS BROWN was the opening act. and he is so god damn HOT. half of me went just to go see chris and his dance moves were so hot.... he's now level with justin timberlake in my "hottest boy dancers in the world" list. he did a tribute performance and sang to MJ's "rock with you" (one of my fav songs) and of course "billy jean". and when theres billy jean, theres that hat move and he did the most awesome moon walk. it still looked good from where i was seating. haha. gate 65 which is one of the last gates.

i wasnt working the camera to well at this point. it was chris brown, opening act, getting real excited, couldnt give a crap bout taking pictures, and he is waayy hot performing live.

he sang all good songs. the dances were really good and he sings so well. after the opening act, there was a break till beyonce's show. then started the mexican waves! ahh, the brilliant mexican waves. and everyone was chanting beyonce! beyonce! the funny thing is the crowd would scream at the slightest movement of security or light changes. haha. beyonce's promo ad came up on screen and everyone started screaming. it was hilarious. at 9pm sharp, the lights went off and the crowd went WILD. including me.

that was the opening act. glamour all the way. that was where i was seating. wasnt that far away. haha. if u look closely, theres a huge screen on the right. i could see her face up close there. i couldnt believe i was watching her LIVE.

i started getting good with the camera. she's the one standing on the top of the stairs. she sang the best songs at the concert. she opened with crazy in love then she sang freakum dress. the best song of her b'day album which is an awesome album. she sang lotssa songs from her last album and also destiny child classics. my cousin and i were of the few standing and dancing at our box. ppl around us were just siting but i was like to hell with that. i was dancing all night. she even sang 'say my name', 'bills', 'soldiers' all the good destiny child songs. i went crazy when 'bootylicious' came on.

the choreography and song selections rocked. all of beyonce's dancers were so good. this was my first R&B pop concert coz the rest have been rock concerts so it was definitely one to remember and she made it huge. these pictures dont even represent one third of the concert. there were so many good parts. every second of it was great. even during her wardrobe changes. there were really good acts and dances in between and her all-girl-band, suga mama, was mind-blowing. saxophone solos, electric guitar solos, piano solos, drums solos. those girls kicked ass.

it was such a good experience and it was one night i damn well deserved. i danced, sang, screamed my lungs out -the ppl behind us moved seats- and just had a good time. her last song was of course irreplaceble. and the whole arena sang along. it was a great moment and a great way to end the show. TO THE LEFT, BOYS.

pic is julia, nicola and gillian really excited before the concert.

i wish everyone could have experienced the beyonce experience. i wasnt a huge fan of beyonce. but i think she put on a great show and is a great woman.

owh man, guns n roses are coming. wish i could go. kindda have no money. =)

easter show

yesterday i went to the Australian Easter Roadshow. its sorta like a carnival thing that they have every year during easter. quite a big thing actually, apparently for the aussies. its these 2 weeks of ripping-off everyone who goes for it. everything was so bloody expensive. it almost killed me to take one ride at the easter show. it was like 6 bucks per ride. but they were so awesome tho. i mean, they were all hard core rides! everything went upside down. it was so exciting coz i hadnt been on any rides for ages. there was the upside-down bungee thing. u know the one where ur in a lil cage ball and they fling u up into the air? yeah. that was so cool. i actually really really was going to do it. but then i thought, hmmm friday the 13th, i might die and all.. so i chickened out. =)

so i went with some friends from school. to be honest, it felt alil awkward and uncomfortable at times. i mean, their really NICE and AWESOME ppl. seriously, their the friendliest most kind ppl ever... but it just didnt feel right. i guess its gonna take alot of time to find the right group of friends. heck, my cousin told me it took her almost 2 years to find the right group of ppl. and those searching times, were down-right-depressing. so yeah. some great motivation there! it would have been so fun if u guys, yes. all my friends in malaysia came to the easter show... we would have rocked it.

there were lotssa game stalls. but i sucked so bad i didnt win anything. owh and there were some awesome acts as well. this one was my favourite....

look at the ass on that guy. and the abs on the others. it was the aquatic high dive spectacular. and let me tell ya, it was damn spectacular. =)

another awesome act was the freestyle dirt biking. the guys were crazy. doing flips and shit. i tried to upload a really crappy video i took of the bikers but i couldnt. or i just dont know how. but yeah, it was them doing flips over the huge ramps.

the greatest part of easter shows are their showbags. their like bags of stuff u buy at the easter show. haha. yeah. there was this whole building of stalls selling all kinds of showbags. i only got two showbags coz their so effin expensive. would have got lotssa chocolate showbags if i could. owh well, i got a SPIDERMAN showbag. hell yeah. definitely gotta get spiderman. it came with a small spidey figurine, a spidey yoyo, spidey wrist thing and yeah spidey stuff. the other one i got was a MEGA MAFIA showbag. haha. this ones awesome. it came with mafia bling, the mafia hat, a gun, and a mafia t-shirt.

hey godfather, can i join the gang?

and that sums my easter outing. hope u guys had a good easter! i had so many chocolate eggs, the easter bunny probably hates me now. take care guys. have a good one.

alone

unaccompanied, by yourself, on your own, unaided.

is it that hard? to be alone? to not feel the warmth of someone u know beside u? u can be surrounded by a sea of people and still feel alone. of course. but what about doing something on your own? going to the bathroom alone, (yes, i mean without asking ur friend to come along) have lunch on your own, watch a movie alone?

today i took a train (pic), alone, to Hornsby mall coz i just had to get out of the house. the walls were starting to feel like they were closing in on me. yeah. anyway, i went to the mall to do some shopping and then sat down and had some sushi by myself. yup. i know i sound like a loner and everything but it actually felt good. i was free, to go anywhere, for as long as i liked and not worry bout anyone or anything else. except the train schedules.

it felt good.

imagini

rejuvinated

o dear... 3 months.

not good at all. well, im sorry. i tried to keep it updated. its just everytime i put my fingers on the keyboard, it wouldnt move. school and work have been overwhelming as well, and i diddnt know where to start. there has been so much pressure living in someone elses home. thou their relatives, its so hard living with other people. different cultures and morals. i just miss home SO much.

I SPOKE TO BECKY ON THE PHONE.

wohoo!!! and it cost me $8 dollars. now i have $12 dollars left until next month. damn. never knew how crap prepaid was coz i always had daddy to pay the bills. back in the day.
but it was extremely awesome hearing her voice again. her very loud voice. she was speaking so fast i couldnt even understand her. every subject she was babbling about (which changed every 5 seconds) was a complete tangent from the previous one. but i wouldnt blame either of us. we went from calling each other more than 3 times a day to no calls and depreciating emails. i missed home so much that night i was crying my eyes out. but it was SO SWEET talking to her that lonely night. i promise there will be more to come.

i was gonna talk about school, but its just so hectic. and im exhausted and i have a random headache. i'll leave it to next time. which reminds me, i have an enormous amount of homework i have piling up. crap.

in case u havnt already figured it out, my tale of two cities is one of KL and Sydney. im having my school term holidays now for 2 weeks. its only been 2 days and im already bored to the grave. holy shit, what the eff am i gonna do? thats why i miss home so much. yesterday i was sitting in the living room staring at peppy the dog and i really started to miss malaysia... all my friends, all the parties and movies, my mom, my dad and their CAR. *dont even get me started on transport here, u gotta walk everywhere and take the bus and train. ooh! i took a bus to Parramatta courts a few weeks ago for a legal excursion, all by MYSELF. i was so proud and i felt so independant* hell yeah

so yeah. if i continue to stay at home in my dark room, blogging every 5 minutes, i think i'll go insane. actually, i think im gonna bike to the shop later to have lunch. the shop (restaurant) is a 30 min walk from home so its pretty close.

thats my room. still kept it neat even after mom left home. her nurturing paid off. =)

yesterday night was awesome. we went to the city for dinner and had pancakes at the Rocks for dessert. i still love max brenner and their to-die-for chocolate waffles with strawberries and ice cream but yesterdays chocolate pancakes was a worthy contender.

omg. how good does that bloody look? i came home 4 months pregnant last night. but it was all worth it. =)

and thats just me getting excited over pancakes and the big city bridge. it looks beautiful thou, doesnt it?
