Banana

what an exciting day i had. a group of General Practitioners and medical students visited Carlingford High today. all of year 11 were split up into little groups and were given a chance to ask any medical questions to our visitors. and in teenage mentality, that means HORNY questions.

our GP was a fourty-something aussie woman and we were ready to ask her the most awkward questions ever. we also had a canadian medical student with a degree in phsycology, in her twenties.

1st question asked: "can we get some free condoms?"

effectively, we did get some condoms. and some lubricant. all for the cause of sex education, of course!! unless someone got lucky tonight. so we examined the condoms where Dr. Anne pulled out a plastic banana. wow, said all of us. then she pulled the peel off and it was a plastic penis. holy shit, where did u get that from???, we all screamed. hahaha. so i said, can i have a look at it? and she pulled me over to be her 'assistant'.

we got heaps of information bout pap smears, STDs -herpes, chlamydia, HIV, tampons, protection, and of course how to put on a condom. with the help of the banana.

we finally got out of the topic after some 40 minutes. finally. and asked more useful questions to do with depression, schizophrenia, drugs, smoking pot, and alchohol consumption. did u know that having those little 5% alchohol bottle booz drinks that i so totally love, are classified as standard drinks. i was like shit. that sucks.

ANYWAYS.....

that was my day. it was interesting and very educational. i mean, everyday should very well be educational since its school. but yeah. it was good to know and clarify all these facts. and we got free condoms. wohoo!

*3 weeks. im crossing each day off my calender. i cant wait to see all u guys. im on a major diet now so i wont be seen as fat when i get back to the 'land of the skinny girls'. sigh. nevertheless, i cant wait to be home.*
